In this three-hour workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of modern brush pen calligraphy, including how to hold a brush pen, how to form basic strokes and how to connect these strokes to form lowercase letters and words. Private Lessons
Cursive (Ages 8+)
This class will introduce students to the art of cursive handwriting. Students will learn both lowercase
and uppercase letters, and how to join these letters to write words and names. Mini art projects will be
included so that students can apply their new skills in a fun and creative way.
Brush Calligraphy (Ages 10+)
This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of modern brush pen calligraphy, including how to
hold a brush pen, how to form basic strokes, and how to connect these strokes to form lowercase letters
and words. Students who wish to move beyond the basics will have the opportunity to learn uppercase
letters and how to use these in combination with lowercase letters and words. Mini art projects will be
included so that students can apply their new skills in a fun and creative way.
Brush Calligraphy (Adults)
Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of modern brush pen calligraphy, including how to hold
a brush pen, how to form basic strokes, and how to connect these strokes to form lowercase letters and
